As a child, I was a passionate
Kart RACER, and from 2011 to 2013 - following in the footsteps of my early role models Michael Schumacher and Sebastian Vettel - I completed many thousands of laps on well-known kart tracks, always hunting for lap records. These intensive years on the asphalt were crucial in training my real-world "seat-of-the-pants" feel and perfectly synchronizing my instinctive feel for the limit with the actual track.
COMPETITIVE SPORTS AS FUEL
In parallel,
COMPETETIVE TENNIS has shaped my athletic foundation since early childhood. Nearly 600 completed DTB and ITF tournament matches to date stand for extreme resilience, strategic focus, and that absolute competitive toughness from which I directly benefit today in every race.
THE UNCOMPROMISING VIRTUAL FOUNDATION
For just as long - since I was 4 years old (2008), to be exact - I have been sharpening my driving precision in the racing simulator. From day one, my approach was radical: I always drove without any electronic driving aids (like ABS or traction control). This uncompromising style of car control, which my father aptly described back then as "driving on slippery soap," forged my current feel for razor-sharp setups and perfect car control, even under the most adverse conditions.
RACING SIMULATOR WITH REALISTIC PHYSICS
To translate these skills into actual speed, I strictly avoided fun-oriented arcade racing games (like Gran Turismo, Forza, F1, etc.). My development took place exclusively on platforms with realistic driving physics - starting early on with GTR2/rFactor and culminating in the most demanding and realistic platforms today: Assetto Corsa and iRacing. In 2022, entering competitive online racing on iRacing, a rapid breakthrough followed: As a successful
SIM-Racer , I became the three-time consecutive Overall Champion (Hypercar) in the top splits of the iRacing Official Series in 2023 and won the seven-hour "iRacing IVRA 1000 km of SPA" - always against the fiercest international competition.
THE CROSSOVER PROOF IN A REAL CAR
Just how directly this hardcore crossover school of virtual precision and kart-trained seat-of-the-pants feel translates into success in real-world motorsport was proven in 2024 with my jump straight from the SIM into a racing cockpit: Practically out of nowhere and with no real-world prior experience, I instantly secured podiums and 1 race win in my debut season in the BMW 318ti Cup, the world's largest one-make racing series. Right after that came the RCN and NLS. I was able to summon my high performance very quickly every single time.
